Scott Maney is a copywriter/CCO at Breakaway in Boston, formerly a copywriter/ECD/President at Jones in Chicago. He’s looking, and it sounds like a pretty cool opportunity. From Scott: “Small, award-winning creative shop Jones (CA, One Show, Graphis) was acquired by venture capital firm Breakaway to create a hybrid VC/creative shop. Working with some really cool companies – Newton Running, IdeaPaint, Velcro. Taking equity in other companies instead of fees. We have people from Mullen, Modernista, Tank, Reebok, Arnold, RISD, Puma. We’re looking for a writer to add to the mix. They’ll work on everything from digital to print to TV to product development to business ideas.”
