Taking a break for the holidays, CWs. MC will be back Monday, Jan 2nd. Until then, may Santa leave presents under your tree. May you survive relatives. May you find something good to read.
Mike is a copywriter at Brunner in Pittsburgh. He put mullets on parking meters for Supercuts. “Has your haircut expired?” That’s funny. Anything with mullets is funny.
Bob is a copywriter/CD in Boulder and a fellow Duck (go Ducks!). In his Outdoor section, he has a campaign for the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame that features “the longest copy outdoor ads in American advertising.” About 10,500 words each. That’s what we like to see on MC. Only one complaint. Wish we could zoom in to read all of those beautiful words.
Andrew is VP ECD at NBCUniversal/ECD of Integrated Media. Check out his rez: CP+B, WK, JWT, Leagas, Fallon. Then check out his work. Then maybe cry a little. Then feel better. Then cry a little more.
Andy is a copywriter in Los Angeles. He has magic writing powers that MC doesn’t have: he can write awesome lyrics. Check out the first video on his site, Prius Goes Plural, and the last, for Google Offers. Love ‘em. So much other great work up on his site, too. Plus the site itself is rad. Winner.
Grant is a senior creative director at BBDO NY, and who knows if he’s had the time or need to update his portfolio site in awhile. MC doesn’t care. The writing in Print + OOH (Red Stripe) and More TV (FedEx) is so genius, Grant can now add MC Faves Week 3 to his list of accomplishments, right between London International and Radio Mercury. Or maybe not.

John is a student copywriter at Creative Circus who’s about to graduate. (Got a theme going this week.) You have to like a creative who is both confident and self-depricating. Someone who can dress it up and laugh in the mirror. And judging from John’s site (check out his “About I” link), he does both. Look out advertising, here comes John Ennis.
Dan Stewart, VP/CD at deep in Springfield, MO, is looking for a writer to join their shop. Look at deep’s work, you’ll probably find yourself getting hungry. From Dan, “Although we have a focus on food marketing, we work with a variety of great clients and brands. We’re looking for a storyteller, who is comfortable crafting great headlines and engaging long copy. A desire to create brilliant, breakthrough creative in a team environment with a great attitude is paramount.” Check out deep’s work and email Dan at the link/address below:
