Lindsey Campbell

stw_journey

Lindsey is a copywriter at Brand Content in Boston, previously in-house at Staples (last post on MC 07.03.14). In a world that’s spinning a little negative at the moment, it’s so nice to see someone using their copywriter powers for good. Lindsey’s no-budget School The World campaign generated 7 million views in one week for a non-profit that builds schools for kids in developing countries. More of that, please.

Amanda Caldari

Amanda is a copywriter at Rokkan in NYC. (Her site was submitted by Jeff Samson, CD at Rokkan, big ups!) Love her campaign for Birthday Wishes (above)—a non-profit that throws birthday parties for homeless kids. So good. And don’t miss her Eyeconic campaign featuring real paid actors as testimonial spokespeople. Imagine!

Doug Murphy

Doug is a junior copywriter at Brand Content in Boston where he works with Tom Kelly (MC 10/21/11), Lindsey Campbell (MC 7/3/14) and Lawrence O’Toole (MC 10/12/15). Surrounded by those kinds of friends, plus a little Weed (above), you just know Doug is going to do big things.

Lawrence O’Toole

Lawrence is a copywriter/ACD at Brand Content in Boston. Love his projects for Jeremiah Weed, Monster.com, and others—however, MC had no choice but to feature his T.F. Kinnealey & Co. campaign (above). Headlines made out of meat. Yes. Lawrence wins the prize. Well done, indeed, sir.

CW & CW/AD Team Wanted: Brand Content, Boston

BrandContent_MC

Stephanie Taubin, Director of Creative Services at Brand Content in Boston, is on the hunt for a copywriter and a junior CW/AD team. From Stephanie: “We’re looking for smart people who create the kind of work that others wish they had. Juniors can be fresh out of ad school with a great portfolio. The other copywriter should have a year or two experience. You’ll work on everything from broadcast to print, digital to social with opportunities to work on non-profit and new business.

Qualifications:

  • A wide-ranging portfolio with solid writing or design skills and big ideas across multiple mediums
  • Comfortable presenting work and selling the idea through
  • Desire to do great work, win awards and grow the agency
  • Hungry to learn and hungry in general – (we have bagels on Fridays and company lunch on Wednesdays)

Brand Content is a small, independent agency creating award-winning work for clients like Baileys Coffee Creamers, Monster.com, Hood and Nantucket Film Festival. We have nice people, hot coffee and cold beer. If that matters to you, let’s talk.”

Tom Kelly

Tom is a copywriter/ECD at Brand Content in Boston. You know what’s great about portfolio sites? Versus the old portfolio portfolios? The archive section. If they love it, it’s like extra credit. If they don’t love it, it’s like, so what? It’s the archive section. (Plus, for writers, it means being able to include your fave headlines on one-shots, spec ads, oldies, and so-so art directed pieces.) Be sure to check out Tom’s archive section. Some awesome work in there. Glad we got a chance to see it.
