Chase Doutre

Chase is a senior copywriter at David & Goliath in Los Angeles. See, this is what happens on MC. Back on 05.12.14, MC posted Chase’s portfolio when he was a junior copywriter in Salt Lake City, Utah. Today, five years later, you click through his portfolio and it’s like, “Oh crap. This is so good. What have I been doing for the past five years???” Love it. Time for an update.

Dan Jordan

steve

Dan is a copywriter/ACD at Calvary in Chicago. (Second City alert! Once again proving MC’s theory that comedians, drummers and surfers make great copywriters.) Fun stuff up and down his portfolio. One of MC’s faves is Chili’s “Open Letter” (above) reaction to Steve Carell and Paul Rudd’s spoof of LeBron’s famous “I’m going to Miami” ESPN interview. Steve and Paul end up describing/laughing about the letter on Charlie Rose. Genius.

Erik Fahrenkopf

Erik is a copywriter/CD at Goodby in San Francisco. He shares a portfolio site with partner/AD Anthony Decarolis, and their work is just ridiculous awesome. MC had a tough time selecting which piece to feature, but you can’t go wrong with Cheetos Flamin’ Hot fingers dialing 911. Brilliant.

Bob Rickert

Bob is a copywriter/CD in Boulder and a fellow Duck (go Ducks!). In his Outdoor section, he has a campaign for the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame that features “the longest copy outdoor ads in American advertising.” About 10,500 words each. That’s what we like to see on MC. Only one complaint. Wish we could zoom in to read all of those beautiful words.

John Guynn

John is a copywriter/ACD at RPA in Los Angeles, David & Goliath and McKinney before that. What’s better than going through someone’s site, seeing work you’ve never seen before, and laughing out loud because it’s hilarious and awesome? Well. Okay. The Spinach & Shaved Parmesean Pizza at Tommaso’s in San Francisco is better. But not much.
