Ryan is a freelance copywriter/ACD in Richmond, VA (and ready to travel). Since his last post on MC, way back on 05.07.12, he moved from Pereira & O’Dell to Innocean to Martin to freelance—and added a bunch of killer work to his portfolio along the way. Like selling lemonade with Ice-T for Geico (above). Definitely time for an update.

David is a copywriter/CD in Atlanta. Don’t miss his social campaign for RaceTrac (convenience stores and gas stations in the southern United States) around their “endless bevy of fountain drinks,” for which David got to make up fictitious soda concoctions and name them—the ultimate dream job of every 13-year-old boy who ever lived in the southern United States. Good times.

Oliver is a copywriter in Richmond, VA, previously at Martin. His site is built with readymag, the first on MC (pretty sure). Looks great. Also, it allows Oliver to step you through his portfolio in the order he wants, which is cool. Dig it.

Scott is a freelance copywriter/ACD in Winston-Salem. Check out his TV page. It rocks. Washington Mutual, Washington State Department of Health, and T-Mobile are MC faves. If you’re the father of a daughter, don’t miss T-mobile “Hard Questions.” Arrrg.

Steven is a copywriter/ACD at AKQA. He’s got a shiny new site that begins with an absolutely hilarious Website Orientation Video Program. Love it love it love it.

Sara graduated from VCU in 2004 and has been at Martin in Richmond ever since. So, if you graduated in 2004 but haven’t been at Martin ever since, you can check out Sara’s site and see what might have been yours. [Sigh] What might have been yours …

Josh is a copywriter/CD in NYC, previously at DDB, Martin, W+K, TBWA Chiat, and GS&P. Once again proving MC’s theory that surfers make stellar copywriters.

Jessica is a senior copywriter at The Martin Agency in Richmond (as of two months ago), GS&P before that. Her site is titled JessLikesToMakeStuff and is divided into two parts: For Work and For Play. But they could be For Play and For Play With Money, because her work is just wicked fun.

Sally was a copywriter/CD at W+K, Fallon, Martin, her own shop, and then she opened a CP+B office. Since then, she’s done more with her career than 10 average copywriters combined, including writing the popular book Radical Careering (above). What else can I say? She’s Sally Hogshead. Her career is what’s possible.

Rebecca is a copywriter/ACD at AKQA NYC. Her site is super quirky fun. (Totally stole my theme song, BTW.) A little taste from her self-description: “West Virginia native but I still have most of my teeth. I’m allergic to cats, in need of a tan, and teach Easy Bake Oven cooking classes in my free time. (Very tiny meatloaves).” Want one! Don’t leave without checking out her Weird Fun page. It’s weird. And fun.

Neel is a copywriter at The Martin Agency in Richmond, Y&R NY before that. As the father of a daughter, an extremely talkative daughter, I looove Neel’s Cellular South spot. (Made coffee shoot out my nose.) His blog, Superuselsess Superpowers, is just ridiculous. I’m so buying the book.

Mike is a copywriter/VP/ACD at The Martin Agency in Richmond, CP+B and WestWayne (under Luke Sullivan) before that. His site is a straight-up, old school Blogger blog with zero extra fanciness. That’s what you can do when you have a portfolio like Mike’s portfolio. Which, if you haven’t guessed, is just absolutely, completely awesome.

Kathy is a freelance copywriter/CD in Los Angeles. She’s spent time at W+K, The Martin Agency, and TBWA Chiat/Day. She’s also a novelist. Like, a Los Angeles Times Bestselling-slash-Penn Faulkner Awards West Finalist novelist.

Kevin is a copywriter at The Martin Agency in Richmond. If you’re a fan of long copy, you must click over to his site and read the above print ad immediately.

David is a freelance copywriter/CD in Richmond, VA. Before going solo, he was a CD at Y&R and an ACD at Phillips Ramsey. My fave part of his site was watching the first thing on his reel, a classic Jaguar spot, and the last thing on his reel, an SNL skit that includes a parody of the spot. Screw awards. If SNL does your spot, you win.

Steven is a Senior Copywriter at AKQA in San Francisco. He’s got a great online portfolio. Sometimes you look at a book and you can just tell that the copywriter loves what he/she does for a living. Loves writing. Loves big ideas. That’s Steven. Steven has fun. When I go through Steven’s site, so do I.
