Rebecca Wang

Rebecca is a copywriter at R/GA in NYC. Love the headline on her site: “Copywriter—my Art Director didn’t help me with this.” (Ha! Just own it.) Her book is in that place that’s so fun to see, half student and half produced work—already got some cool projects for Verizon and Mercedes. Can’t wait to see what she does next!

Anthony Roberts

Anthony is a senior writer at R/GA in Portland, Oregon. The first project on his site, Nike Speed Drops, just isn’t fair. Branded Lamborghinis transport superstar NBA players to Nike+ members in San Francisco, where they deliver autographed Nike shoes. (Ok, sure. Yeah. Do that.) Geeeeeeeez.

Andrew Payton

Andrew is a copywriter/GCD at Story in NYC. Since his last post on MC (way back on 09.21.11), he’s got a new site, new gig, and a whole bunch of new work for clients like Verizon, Audible, Vevo, Google, Chapstick, and Mentos. Don’t miss his beautiful campaign for Popsicle (above) celebrating summer. Is it really almost over? How’d that happen so fast?

Josh Gordon

Since his first post on MC (04.11.14) right after graduating from Miami Ad School NYC (and University of Oregon before that, go Ducks!), Josh has worked with R/GA, Barker DZP, and RICG. He’s also got a whole new site with projects for SlimFast, IDB Bank, Alcoholics Anonymous, Miele, Mercedes-Benz, and others. Time for an update.

Intern Team Wanted: R/GA, Austin

Chris Cima, Creative Director at R/GA in Austin, is looking for an intern creative team. From Chris: “R/GA Austin is on the hunt for an intern creative team. We’re looking for both a writer and designer/art director. We’re willing to build a team from two solo badasses or if we find a pre-built team that has a great book, even better. The plan is to make this team an active part of our creative department and get them on real projects to see what they can do with enough guidance to keep their heads from exploding.” Love it. Mate Nagy

Mate is an interactive copywriter in Stockholm, after recently graduating from Berghs School of Communication. (Note to self: must host Berghs Week on MC.) Lots of smart, awesome ideas on his site. Don’t miss Mercedes Future Cell, where he turns old cars into an artificial reef. Amazing job putting the video together. Wow.

Ross Wolinsky

Ross is a junior copywriter at R/GA in NYC. One of MC’s fave things about portfolio sites is checking out what people did before they became copywriters. What lead them to a life of copywriting? For example, between May and July of 2006, Ross was a professional Ghost Hunter for Supernatural Occurrence Studies in Chicago. It’s like, duh. How else are you going to follow that up?

Andrew Payton

Andrew is a copywriter/CD at R/GA in NYC. What a crazy fun mix of work on his site, including tons of great digital. Be sure to click on “Intel, Web Film, Changed” (top row, third from right). We all have moments as copywriters, moments when we know we’ve made it. Like when you’ve hired a rock band and paid them however much to set up on the 10th floor of an office building and crank out a song about middle management I.T. Good stuff.

Dov Zmood

Dov is a copywriter/ACD at Ogilvy in NYC. Over the past ten years, he’s also done time at R/GA, FCB, TBWA, and JWT Melbourne. His site is loaded with awesome work, and a ton of it. Lots of which MC hadn’t seen before, like the above campaign for Maxwell House. Yawning IS ugly.

Ted McCagg

Ted is a copywriter/ACD at R/GA in San Francisco. He’s written and illustrated a hilarious book called Paper Doll Orgy, which features a quote from Conan O’Brien on the front, “Ted McCagg is a truly original thinker who really makes me laugh. And for that, I hate him.”

Honorary: Diego Zambrano

Diego is a Brazilian art director/senior partner/CD at Ogilvy NYC. His site is so simple. It’s a “karaoke style reel,” plus links to Twitter, LinkedIn, Flickr, Contact, Store (yes, a store), and Tweet This!

Margie Chidley

Margie is a copywriter at GS&P. She shares a site with AD Megan Penmann. There’s a ton of fun stuff on their site, including “Mow The Lawn” for Quattro for Women and a vid + spots for Huggies Pull-ups. “One Big Kid. One Ancient Throne. One Unforgettable Journey.”

Serena Connelly

Serena is a copywriter/CD at Strawberry Frog in NYC. Love how her portfolio is organized. Digital, Analog, Shiny Prizes, and Resume. Digital is broken out into Branding, Campaigns, Site Redesign, and Interactive Flare. Analog represents the first 10 years of her career on the traditional side, and is broken out into Print and TV. Put it all together, just awesome.

Jay Zasa

Jay is a copywriter/ECD at The Barbarian Group, formerly at R/GA. What a crazy cool variety of projects on his site. Pepsi’s Dear Mr. President, R/GA Little Red Books, The Verizon Beatbox Mixer … and not a single print campaign.

Justin Chen

Justin is a copywriter at R/GA in San Francisco, Cutwater and McCann T.A.G. before that. How about this for a client list: Jeep, Ray-Ban, Nike, Arnette, Oreo, Master Lock, Gibson. Suh-weeet.

Barbara Kopeloff

Barbara is a senior copywriter at Tribal DDB in NYC, Ogilvy and R/GA and Big Spaceship before that. With all of that awesome interactive experience, and projects like HBO Voyeur, Nike+ and OfficeMax Arcade in her portfolio, what does Barbara’s site look like? Some big interactive production? Nope. Nine projects you can click through in about two minutes. And all of the info you could want for each project, right there, easy as Sunday morning.
