Robert is a copywriter/ACD formerly at Commonwealth/McCann in Detroit (pre-COVID-19). His portfolio was submitted to MC by Joel Austin, a fellow copywriter located in Dallas. (Big ups!) Responsibilities Include: Short and long-form copywriting. Working as a team with an art director to concept and produce breakthrough creative for various clients in all media channels. Oversight of copy/concept of creative from inception through completion to ensure a high level of quality. Researching clients’ products/services/image to ensure ability to write accurate, on-target copy/concepts for assigned projects. Working to ensure creative is on brief strategically. Presenting work at client meetings. Assisting in writing proposals, marketing plans, publicity, etc., as requested. SEO/SEM and writing for web a plus. Minimum Requirements: Degree in fine arts, advertising or related field. Minimum three years’ experience conceptualizing and copywriting for advertising campaigns in an agency or corporate environment. Sense of humor.”
