Creatives Wanted (all levels): SRG, Boulder

srg2

Jamie Caruso from Sterling-Rice Group in Boulder, Colorado, is on the hunt for copywriters, art directors, and production designers at all levels. From SRG, “Sterling-Rice Group (SRG) is a premier consulting and communications firm. We have created positive and enduring impact for our clients for more than 30 years.

SRG’s unique fusion of strategic and creative capabilities has helped build brands and drive growth at companies big (e.g., PepsiCo, Wendy’s, Lilly) and small (e.g., Dave’s Killer Bread, MyChelle Dermaceuticals, Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers). Founded in 1984, we’ve grown our firm through an integrated combination of capabilities that, together, are unique in the industry. We specialize in consumer insights, strategy, innovation, design, and communications.

Perhaps more important than what we do at SRG is how we do it. Before ever having a client, our founders defined the core beliefs upon which SRG would be built: Excellence, Creativity, Education, Honesty, Respect, Social Value, Responsibility, and Fun. For 30+ years, we have measured our performance on these beliefs annually. And because we live these beliefs every day, we’ve been named a Best Place to Work by AdAge in 2017 and Outside Magazine for the past six years.

Please apply at www.srg.com/careers with a link to your portfolio. We’ll be in touch if there is a match with our needs. We can’t wait to see what you have to offer.”

ACD & Sr CWs Wanted: Victors & Spoils, Boulder

VS_Primary_Logo_White

Avery Henderson, Community Coordinator at Victors & Spoils in Boulder, is looking for an ACD and senior copywriters. From Avery: “Wanted: ACD & Sr. Copywriters with agency experience and a proven prowess with the written word to join our Boulder crew. If interested, you must be willing to step outside the comforts of a traditional agency and embrace both the nature of the startup culture and new ways of creating advertising. So an eager work ethic, an entrepreneurial attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow is essential.

You’ll have the opportunity to creatively support all client accounts, think conceptually and strategically and work closely with the V&S creative community to help prepare ideas for client presentation. Ideally, you’ll also have some production experience – in broadcast, print, digital and beyond – as you may be asked to lead or guide the execution of certain projects. And most importantly, you should be a cultural fit, which may or may not include a willingness to tolerate or join our agency’s competitive cornhole league.

Other Considerations:

  • Candidate must possess proven leadership, organizational and communication skills.
  • Candidate must be amenable to performing tasks both above and below his or her title, since a small agency culture often requires that you wear a lot of hats.

Give us a sense of who you are and why you’re the right person for the job. Be creative, but don’t forget to provide a link to your portfolio as part of your application.”

Bob Rickert

Bob is a copywriter/CD in Boulder and a fellow Duck (go Ducks!). In his Outdoor section, he has a campaign for the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame that features “the longest copy outdoor ads in American advertising.” About 10,500 words each. That’s what we like to see on MC. Only one complaint. Wish we could zoom in to read all of those beautiful words.

Ryan Kutscher

freakout1

Ryan is an ACD at CP+B. If you’re not happy with your career, just skip going to his site. If you’re having a good day, a really good day, then I recommend going through it backward. Start with the rez. He broke into the biz as an intern at CP+B in 2004. Right. Then to to the awards page. Shit. Deep breath. Then to the work, which is really just a line-up of every other brilliant spot that’s come out of Crispin over the past five years. Including the Whopper Freakout campaign.
