Jaz Lee

Jaz is a 24-year-old copywriter/ACD at Leo Burnett Malaysia. He joined Leo Burnett five years ago as a junior copywriter and since then, in his own words, “it’s been an awesome ride.” All kinds of killer projects for Petronas on his site (including the tear-jerker “Rubber Boy” above), plus work for Samsung, UNICEF, and others. Love it.

Vickknesh Raj

Vickknesh is a copywriter at Leo Burnett in Kuala Lumpur. (How cool is that?) The first project in his portfolio for Jacob’s, the original Malaysian cream cracker, celebrates other Malaysian originals by laser-cutting their likenesses into 1,500 crackers. First, watch the video. Then, watch the making-of video right below it. That’s a lot of crackers.

Edward Ong

Edward is a writer/CD in Malaysia. (Two CWs from Malaysia in one week. Dig it.) There are a ton of projects in his portfolio and a huge variety—from Penguin Books to BMW, Tiger Beer to posters for his agency’s Star Wars-themed Christmas party. Projects are divided into two categories: Copy and Everything Else. With so much content, that makes it easier to concentrate on just the writing, if that’s what you’re into. Which, being MC, we are.

Jeremy Ng

Jeremy is a senior copywriter at NagaDDB in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. (Love international submissions. More, please!) He started life as a graphic designer, then switched to writing at his first agency. Check out his project for Yoshinkan Aikido, which uses pieces of bad guy faced-cake to promote self-defense classes for Malaysian women. Delish.
