Brian is an art director/designer/CD in San Francisco, previously at start-up Madison Reed in SF and DigitasLBi Chicago, Ogilvy Chicago, and Doner Detroit before that. He’s got a beautiful Squarespace site that shows off six brands/projects for Madison Reed, Bumble & Bumble, Dove, Interface, Jim Beam, and BP Stations. Dig it.

Andrew is a copywriter/GCD at Story in NYC. Since his last post on MC (way back on 09.21.11), he’s got a new site, new gig, and a whole bunch of new work for clients like Verizon, Audible, Vevo, Google, Chapstick, and Mentos. Don’t miss his beautiful campaign for Popsicle (above) celebrating summer. Is it really almost over? How’d that happen so fast?

Since his last post on MC just over five years ago (03.27.11), Chris has been busy. He became a CD, joined eBay, worked on a bunch of their site builds, wrote design playbooks for eBay and PayPal, and developed his own social media app called Hashtag Spy. Way overdue for an MC update.

It’s been two years since Jenny’s last post on MC (04.14.14), time for an update! She’s got a bunch of new work up on her site, including #ShareTheHumanity for the United Nations. Love seeing stories of how we can use our social media powers for good. We need more of that. Lots more of that.

Jason is a copywriter/CD at CSE in Atlanta. Since his last post on MC (09.18.13), he’s moved from Ogilvy to CSE, Cargo to Squarespace, and added all kinds of new work to his site, including Big Head Lee for Coke Zero (above). Time for an update!

Andy Lewis is a senior copywriter in San Francisco. He’s work-married to senior art director Stephen Giem and they’ve consummated the relationship with a joint portfolio site that’s hilarious and all love. It links out to their individual sites, which is a great way to do it. The couple is asking for whiskey or gin in lieu of gifts, which you can send directly to MC.

Eric is a senior copywriter at Vitro in San Diego. The first project on his site is the Kerri Cannon for Asics and the World Series of Volleyball. It shot a volleyball 65mph with pinpoint accuracy, just like ace volleyballer Kerri Walsh—and could be controlled/aimed by participants over the web. Good times!

Jack is a copywriter moving to Amsterdam in late July, and he’s on the hunt for a new gig there. His portfolio is loaded with retail projects from his time at Big Red in Australia. Don’t miss his “People’s Class” campaign for JetStar, Australia’s #1 low-cost carrier. Super fun.

Stephen is a copywriter/CD at Ogilvy in NYC. Since his last post on MC (06.15.10), he moved to Ogilvy from Gotham and added a bunch of new work to his site—including the web series “Always Open” for Denny’s (above, from Gotham) with Dave Koechner, featuring comedians like Will Arnett, Amy Poehler and Sarah Silverman. Dig it.

Kerry is a copywriter/CD in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. She’s also a good friend/former agency comrade of MC, from all the way back when Arnold had a San Francisco shop. (Was it really that long ago?) So happy to have her posted up, at last. Dig it.
August 19th, 2014
Since his last post on MC three years ago (08.24.11, has it been that long?), Ryan’s moved back to the States—after 6+ years in Shanghai—and put together a new Cargo site with killer work all over it. Time for an update!

Jenny is a copywriter at Ogilvy in NYC, just over a year into it. Her book is in that part-student/part-produced stage that MC loves to see. Jenny’s got nine projects up on her site at the time of this post, three produced for UPS & Ferrari, Philips Norelco Social, and Big Ad Gig/Bully Prevention, plus six student campaigns. MC had no choice but to post a piece from her student campaign for Half Price Books, featuring The Cat In The Hat plus Gulliver’s Travels (originally titled “Travels into Several Remote Nations of the World. In Four Parts. By Lemuel Gulliver, First a Surgeon, and then a Captain of Several Ships” for the literary among us). “Two books for the price of one.” Nice.

Elizabeth is a copywriter/ACD at Kirshenbaum in NYC. She’s got tons of awesome work for BMW all over her site, and that’s really what MC should have featured above. But then, as Elizabeth put it, “Diamonds are a copywriter’s best friend.” Don’t miss Wall Street Journal Print, with side-by-side ads for the BMW 6 and 7 … Sterling, Draper … so good.

Since Jason’s last post on MC (10/07/11), he’s gone from mcgarrybowen to Razorfish to his current gig, copywriter/ACD at Ogilvy in Atlanta. (Nice.) His site is still Cargo, MC’s fave for CWs, but he’s got all kinds of new work up. Like Change Your Hairitage for Aussie, above.

Drago is a senior copywriter at Publicis Groupe in Slovenia. (MC’s first portfolio from Slovenia. Yes!) Ever wondered what a awesome book from Slovenia looks like? Wonder no longer. Love it.

Kashyap is a copywriter/ACD at DDB Mudragroup in Bombay, India. MC’s first from Bombay. Seeing as how India is the world’s second most populous country, MC is hoping to quadruple its Twitter following after this post. Namasté!

Stefani is a copywriter/CD in Austin. Over the years, she’s worked with Crispin, Porter & Bogusky, Ground Zero, BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather, Lowe Worldwide, and GSD&M. And now she’s got a shiny new portfolio site to show it off.
