Don’t know about you, but MC loves the POM Wonderful. To learn more about the positions and to apply, click the link below:

Andrew Baker

Andrew is a freelance copywriter/CD in the States and Asia. He loves cars. All kinds of cars. And he’s on a mission to do work for as many car brands as he can: Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, Scion, Cadillac, Acura, Infiniti, the list goes on. Gotta say, if you’re going to pick a category to go after, cars is a good one. Andrew’s site has a page titled Super Bowl TV, and he’s got four spots up there. Nice.

Steve Rabosky

Steve is a copywriter/CD in Los Angeles, formerly CCO of Dailey, Saatchi LA and Ammirati London, and ECD of Chiat. Plus, one of the nicest guys in the biz. His site is so loaded with classic work for clients like Apple, Energizer and Toyota, it was nearly impossible to choose what to feature in this post. The frame above is from a Honda Fury spot. Sick.

Jason Rappaport

Jason is a copywriter/ACD/VP at McCann in Los Angeles. MC saved this one special for the holiday, because it’s deep (22 projects) and fun. Think of it as an excuse for getting away from the fam for a little breather. “Going to go down to the basement for a few, Uncle Herm. Got to check out this big portfolio site.” Don’t forget to grab a bottle of something on your way down. And a turkey leg.

Todd Carey

Todd is a copywriter/acd/vp at RPA in LA. His book is loaded with awesome work for Honda–one of MC’s secret fave car brands. Todd is an alum of Second City and Upright Citizens Brigade, yet again proving MC’s theory that comedians, drummers and surfers make fabulous copywriters. Maybe we should add categories for those in the sidebar. Hmm.

Jim Real

Jim is a copywriter/CD in Los Angeles. His site is hosted on Krop. Love how the horizontal slider lets you nav through integrated campaigns quick and easy. Each starts with a simple set-up card, then goes big pieces to outer reaches. He’s also got a deep radio selection, which has become a rarity on writer sites. Tip o’ the Hat.

Kevin Steele

Kevin is a copywriter at WONGDOODY in Los Angeles, been there since May 2010 after graduating from Circus. What a great shop to land at right out of school. Such an awesome time in the career. Getting killer work produced, swapping out student campaigns for real stuff in the book, staying at Shutters when you’re like 25 years old and two nights’ hotel bill is equal to one month’s paycheck. But who cares? You thought up a giant skeleton outdoor board while you were peeing in the shower one morning and someone paid $200k to build the thing. (Just made that up. Not Kevin’s actual story.) Love it.

Gerard Seifert

Gerard is a senior copywriter at WONGDOODY in Los Angeles. People sometimes ask MC, “What’s the right amount of set-up for projects in a portfolio?” Such a hard question to answer because every project is different, right? Right. But, if you had to point to an example of a portfolio with just the right set-up, content and tone, Gerard’s would be an excellent choice.

Christine Call

Christine is a copywriter at Deutsch. She shares a site with art director Clemente Bornacelli. They’ve done some cool work for VISA, including pieces of the Go World campaign for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Their site is hosted on Cargo and presented as verbs (above), except “???” which are their answers to James Lipton’s 10 questions. Christine’s favorite curse word: “Douchebag.”

Charlie Stephenson

Charlie is a senior copywriter at TBWA Chiat/Day, formerly at 72 and Sunny. There’s plenty of killer work for Zune on his site – including wicked video. But MC’s fave is a trophy for Charlie’s band Honchie featuring a plaque that reads, “International World Champions of Rock Music Honchie”. Sick.

Sarah Hughes

Sarah is a senior copywriter at DGWB in LA. From her homepage: “This is not just a portfolio. It’s an introduction, a first impression, an awkward hello. It’s a firm handshake with a slightly sweaty palm. It’s an unlocked diary. An autobiography. It’s exhibit A. It’s lost sleep and bruised egos. It’s a eulogy to dead ideas, recycled comps and eraser marks. It’s what if and maybe so. It’s a note passed in class. A do you like me? Check yes, no, maybe. It’s a road traveled and a future unknown. It’s an open mind, printed possibility. A snapshot, a mirror, an unanswered question. What do you see? This is not just a portfolio. It’s an opportunity.” Amen, sister. That it is.

John Guynn

John is a copywriter/ACD at RPA in Los Angeles, David & Goliath and McKinney before that. What’s better than going through someone’s site, seeing work you’ve never seen before, and laughing out loud because it’s hilarious and awesome? Well. Okay. The Spinach & Shaved Parmesean Pizza at Tommaso’s in San Francisco is better. But not much.

Marcin Markiewicz

Marcin is a freelance copywriter in Los Angeles, TBWA Chiat/Day and Euro RSCG before that. His portfolio is just sick. I wish I could have featured his Energizer print campaign above, because the writing is absolutely hilarious, but the type is too small for my blog. So, go check it out. And the Pedigree Adoption spots. And Tap Project. And … just go.
